As someone who moved from St. Louis to Florida nearly 5 years ago, I've missed the comforts of home and, with the exception of family, I've missed the food most. Jake's Pizza is the restaurant that I've needed for quite some time. Utilizing ingredients imported directly from "the lou", that's what us natives call it, they have provided a source for the comforts of home that I've missed so much. When you go, make sure to get the toasted ravioli, Pasta House salad (Pasta House is a St. Louis Italian restaurant chain), and a pizza topped with provel cheese. No trip would be complete without a house made St. Louis dessert, the famous gooey butter cake. You won't be disappointed. If you're local to the Tampa area, you should be going here all the time. If you're within driving distance and miss the comforts of your hometown food, or just have good taste, it's well worth the drive.

Pretty decent pizza. Called in for pick up, girl on the phone was really nice. Husband picked it up. Relatively quick, also. The gooey butter cake. OMG. First time I’ve had it and it is delicious! Will definitely be back to try more.

While we have only visited once, so far, the pizza warrants a 5 star rating. Have not tried the St. Louis style crust yet but the traditional was very good. Fresh cut toppings, homemade sauce & reasonable prices. It's nice to finally have "GOOD" pizza in this location. Will be testing their delivery and St. Louis style pizza next.
